Jesus healed the man blind from birth. Are we blinded by our cultural prejudices? Jesus in a simple way gives us new sight for the journey of life. We are called to know that as we are from the earth and earthy, so are all the others around us. We are to see that God loves all of God's earthy creation.
We are the people of light, called to be inclusive, caring, empathetic and restorative, just as God is of us. Our challenge is to live a new paradigm of inclusion and forgiveness. We must move beyond the confines of our culture which judges and throws away to a new community of all being at one on this one planet earth-our Island home.
