Today is the 100th anniversary of Vimy Ridge, this day- today where our Sisters and Brothers in the Coptic Church in Egypt were bombed during their Palm Sunday service and we remember the journey of Jesus to the Cross where even His own, betrayed Him. We ask ourselves what lessons have we not yet learned that hate and violence are not the ways of God.
We are challenged to look at our own lives. Are we acting in love and peace? Are we through our actions being the ambassadors of Jesus? These questions should be in our minds and hearts as we approach the Celebration of Easter as we travel in this Holy Week as we seek the amendment of our lives.
