Merry Christmas! Today we celebrate the Birth of Jesus as a baby. All of us who have held a baby and then look at the child as it matures are aware of the development of the person through maturity. We look at the teachings of Jesus as our beacon and guide for living life in the darkness.
Jesus calls us to Love, live in Joy, and construct Peace through Hope. These seeds need development and maturity. I pray that, as the faith that we celebrate at Christmas deepens as the year unfolds. Our faith understanding today is different than it was in our earlier days.
We start each year like a baby a journey of deepening faith and understanding. We celebrate Jesus birth like we celebrate the birth of any child in our personal life sphere. We have awe, expectation and confidence. I pray that as 2019 unfolds, our responses will be the response that will follow the roadmap that Jesus outlined for us in His ministry.
May God Bless us all as we journey in the New Year ahead.
