Jesus asks us in Mark's Gospel "Who do you say that I am?" This is a powerful question. We each answer it in our own way. Is Jesus powerful but remote. Is He intimate and loving. Perhaps a stuffed icon from the past-always present but never in-touch with today's issues. Perhaps our Jesus is cold with our experienced reality.
Each of us must wrestle with this and be a living Jesus true to our understanding in this our time on the planet.
