Jesus, out of Love and Compassion formed a social justice movement against the oppressive practices of Rome and the temple elite. He led a rebellious march into Jerusalem which today we remember as Palm Sunday. Much like the march of the students in the USA and around the world were marching for social justice and life on March 24, Jesus and the disciples wanted social justice for the poor and the outcasts. We often forget this and get side-tracked into other details, forgetting the big picture.
