We are called to serve in humbleness. Jesus reminds us that as we serve God, we are to understand, no matter what our position, station, education we are equal before God. Often leaders in churches act as if they have a higher station than the laity with whom they minister. This is wrong! We are equal.
Ministry is varied. We all have a role in ministry. It is diverse and equal as we are all gifted by God and called. I imagine that we are a circle of equal ministers, each with a responsibility to humbly serve God in the pathway of Jesus. Jesus' teaching is the Word of God" not the Bible as many assume. We are called in God's service to love, forgive, share and give.
