Dr. John Bower, our candidate for deacon preached today. His focus was on love. Jesus love for us and for the world. What is our response? Jesus promised us that while on earth that he had to leave but he would not leave us as orphans.
He promised the abiding presence of God with us. This is central to our faith and gives us courage and vision to respond to God's love and share it in the world. Our challenge is to respond as Jesus would respond and not to be driven by earthly forces.
